The plant is filiform and black. The basidiocarps are tufted, tough, thin cylindrical at the base, tapering upward, with many branches. The branchlets are long and linear, and look like human hair when dry. There are 2-4 petioles on the basidiodes. The spores are colorless and smooth.

It grows in alpine area, epiphytic in cracks of Quercus glauca bark or hanging on dead branches. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.

Bitter, cold and poisonous.

Functions and indications: connecting tendons and bones, moistening lung, relieving cough and Tonifying Qi. Treatment of fractures, tuberculosis.

[usage and dosage] external use: Yanmo Baofu. Oral administration: at the end of research, 0.5-1 yuan.
