Another name: cockscomb, mountain monk, Hoo?.

[source] it is the whole bird of Desheng, an animal of Desheng family.

[animal form] Dai Sheng, also known as stinky Gugu and hairy umbrella head bird.

The body length is about 30 cm. On the head, there is a prominent crown, which is brown and chestnut. The apex of each feather is black. On the back, there are white spots under the black tip. The head, neck and chest are of the same color as the feather crown, but lighter, and the chest is more wine colored; the small coverts on the upper back and wings turn brown; the lower back and shoulder feathers are black brown, mixed with light brown and near white cross spots and feather edges; the waist is white; the tail is covered with white base and black end, sometimes with white feather edge, and the longest feather is always black. The tail feather is also black, and there is a broad white spot in the middle. Both wings are black after covering. The brown color of the upper abdomen is lighter than that of the chest, and the inferior membrane is whiter. The feather color of male and female birds is similar. The mouth is slender, slightly curved and black. The feet and toes are dark lead.

They often live alone in open gardens and country trees, looking for insectivores. It is distributed all over the country.
