Small evergreen shrubs, up to 25 cm tall, climbing on rocks or trees. Cymes axillary and terminal, pedicel ca. 1 cm long; calyx deeply 5-lobed, lobes narrowly lanceolate; corolla simple, white to reddish, ca. 5 cm long, swollen above middle, 2-lipped, 5-lobed; stamen 2-developed, staminode 2-lobed; stamen 1, superior to ovary. Capsule linear, about 7-10 cm long, 3 mm in diameter. Seeds minute, fusiform, brown, with brown hairs at both ends. The flowering period is August.
