Perennial evergreen herbs, 6-10 cm high. Rhizome creeping transverse, node. Pseudobulb fleshy, green, angular, cylindric, long ovate, 1.5-3 cm long, 1 leaf per pseudobulb. The leaves are leathery, thick and brittle, oblong, 4-6 cm long and 0.6-1.5 cm wide, apex concave, base cuneate, entire, midrib distinct. Raceme, rachis drawn from the side of pseudobulb, with scaly leaves; flowers small, yellow, fragrant. Fruit ovate, about 1 cm long. The seeds are numerous. It blooms in early summer.

On wet rocks or tree trunks in gullies. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
