Sea moon

Shell 2 pieces, round and flat, thin, transparent, the edge is easy to break. The left shell is convex and the right shell is flat. The radial ribs and concentric growth lines on the shell surface are very fine and dense, and the growth lines near the abdominal margin are slightly scaly. The surface of the shell is white and the top is purplish. The inner surface of the shell is also white with mica like luster. The right shell has two tooth tips of different lengths, arranged in a "∧" shape, and the corresponding part of the left shell forms two depressions with purple black ligaments. There was one adductor muscle with round scar in the center of the shell. The feet degenerate into fingers.

It lives in the middle and lower intertidal zone of warm sea and on the sandy or muddy beach surface of shallow sea. The right shell is down and the left shell is up. It is distributed in the southeast coast.
