Annual herb, 30-60 cm high. Stem erect, much branched, glabrous and smooth. Green. Leaves alternate, 2-3 pinnate, lobes short, narrowly linear. Capitulum arranged in corymbose shape, 1.2-2.5 cm in diameter, inserted on branch tips or leaf axils, pedicled; involucre hemispherical; bracts 4-layered, marginal membranous; ligulate flowers 1-layered, on the periphery of inflorescence, female, white, apex truncated or slightly concave; tubular flowers, mostly bisexual, yellow, corolla apex 4-5-toothed; anther base obtuse; receptacle conical, without stipule. Achene elliptic, with 3-5 thin ribs, without corolla. The flowering period is from May to July.
