[medicinal material] dried root strips, mostly cut into segments, about 30 cm long and 0.5-1 cm in diameter. The cork is orange, with longitudinal wrinkled skin and irregular flaky peel. The skin is about 2 mm thick and easy to fall off. The cross-section is smooth, heartwood is dark in color, with radial lines, neat and fine. Heavy quality. The aroma is strong.
