Hemerocallis fulva

Herbaceous perennial, 30-65 cm high. The roots are clustered and fleshy, and the ends of the roots are expanded into spindles. Leaves basal, narrowly banded, lower end overlapping, spreading upward, about 40-60 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, entire, midrib protruding below leaves. The flower stems are drawn out from the axils of the leaves, and the top of the stem branches and blooms. There are several flowers, large, orange yellow, funnel-shaped, and the perianth is 6-lobed.
