Deciduous climbing shrub, about 3 meters high. The leaves are oblong or broadly elliptic to obovate, 5.5-9 cm long and 3.5-8 cm wide, apex pointed, base broadly cuneate, slightly skewed, margin sparsely dentate, glabrous on both sides, thick in texture; petiole 2-3.5 cm long, with furrows above.
