Wang Linglong

Wang Linglong, male, born in November 1940 in Huangmei, Hubei Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Hubei Medical College in 1963. At present, he is the director, professor and doctoral supervisor of Urology Department of people's Hospital of Wuhan University. In 1992, he enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council and successively served as a member of the urology society of the Chinese Medical Association. Member of Standing Committee of Hubei Branch of Urology society of Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of Wuhan Branch of Urology society of Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of Hubei branch and Wuhan Branch of Andrology society of Chinese Medical Association. Member of Hubei Branch of Organ Transplantation Society of Chinese Medical Association. Currently, he is the editorial board member of Wuhan University Medical Journal, the editorial board member of foreign medical urology branch of Chinese Medical Association, and the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. In 1992, he was rated as a contributing young and middle-aged expert, and in the same year, he was rated as a science and technology rookie in Wuhan. 11 doctoral students and 15 postgraduates were trained.

Research direction

He has been engaged in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research of Urology for more than 40 years. He has rich experience in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research, especially in testicular transplantation. He has edited more than 10 books including micro urology and urology emergency.

Character achievement

As the first author, he published 27 papers in national journals and 11 in provincial journals. In 1986, he won the second prize of major scientific and technological achievements of the Ministry of health. There are deep researches on complex urethral stricture and complex renal calculi.
