. In 1953, he graduated from the sculpture group of the Art Department of South China University of Arts and art, and graduated from the Sculpture Department of Central South Art College in 1956. He has been teaching since then.

Now he is the leader of creative teaching and research group, deputy director of department, deputy director of sculpture art research office, one of the academic leaders of sculpture art discipline and tutor of master's degree students and foreign students. He was the consultant of Zhuhai city sculpture and the art committee member of China sculpture mural Corporation. Now he is a member of China Artists Association, China Sculpture Society and Guangzhou City Sculpture Art Committee. In artistic creation, he likes to show the fighting power between man and man, man and nature; at the same time, he likes to show the harmony between man and man, man and nature.
