Shaoqing, born in Tongan, Fujian Province. When he was young, he read a lot and loved painting. Later, he helped his father in business. When he was over 50 years old, he devoted himself to the business of Nanyang rice, seafood, sugar and foreign goods. He made a lot of profits and became a famous capitalist in Shanghai. He was twice promoted as the Prime Minister of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce.

(1849-1908) he actively invested in the development of national industry. In October 1905, he was promoted to be the general director of Shanghai urban and rural general engineering bureau. In January of the next year, he was promoted to be the director of Jiangsu railway company. He initiated and led the movement to recover the railway rights of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. he never forgets his country and nation when he got rich. On December 15, the 30th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, the sailor of the Russian ship "yasgult" killed Zhou Shengyou, a Chinese civilian, on the Bund for no reason. When the news spread, the people of Shanghai unanimously demanded that the murderer should be severely punished. Zeng Zhu immediately summoned the Shanghai gentry and directors of all provinces to decide to stop using the banknotes issued by the Chinese Russian Dao Sheng Bank. He also called the Ministry of foreign affairs and the Ministry of Commerce to request a note to the Czarist Russian Minister in China and order the consuls in Shanghai to hand over the criminals. In May of the next year, in order to oppose the anti Chinese trend in the United States and the abuse of Chinese workers by the United States, the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, led by Zeng Zhu, electrified 21 ports across the country, demanding that all provinces cooperate to resist. Zeng Zhu also put forward the slogan of "extending national power" and "protecting business interests" and five specific measures to boycott American products. The letters, telegrams, manuscripts, etc., which were once cast in the boycott of American goods, were compiled by Su Shaobing and published in the world as a collection of mountain bells. The meaning of mountain bell is "the people are in harmony and respond quickly, just like mountain bell". After Zeng Zhu died, people from all walks of life in Shanghai held two Memorial meetings. A pair of elegiac couplets spoke highly of Zeng Zhu's life: spell this head, Chi Shu startles the beauty who is bloodless, singing to wake up the Chinese soul.
