Nie Zheng

Nie Zheng (? - 397 B.C.), a knight in the Warring States period, was born in Pang, South Korea (now Southeast of Jiyuan, Henan Province). He is famous for being a knight and is one of the four assassins in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period.

Nie Zheng was young and chivalrous. Because of killing and killing, he took his mother and sister to avoid disaster in Qi (now Shandong) and took slaughter as his industry. Yan zhongzi, a Korean doctor, fled Puyang because of his feud with the court of Han xiangxia (named puppet). Hearing the name of Zheng Xia, Yan zhongzi offered Jujin to celebrate his mother's birthday and became a good friend with Zheng, asking him to avenge himself. After three years of filial piety for his mother's death, Nie Zheng recalled Yan zhongzi's kindness. He went into handuyang Zhai alone with his sword. With the momentum of white Hong running through the sun, he assassinated the Xia on the stage, and then killed dozens of guards. For fear of harming his sister who looked similar to him, he destroyed his face with a sword, gouged his eyes and committed suicide by caesarean section. His sister found his brother's body in Korea city, wept over his body, and ran into Nie Zheng's body (I said she died in front of Nie Zheng's body because of excessive sadness). For his deeds, see historical records - biographies of assassins.

Guo Moruo once wrote the historical drama "the flower of Tangdi" to praise Nie Zheng's chivalrous spirit. Nie Zhengtai commemorates him in the northwest of Yuzhou City, Henan Province.
