Zhao Qi
Zhao Qi, the word Xingluo. He was an important Minister of the Northern Qi Dynasty in the northern and Southern Dynasties, and was highly valued by the tenth emperor of the Northern Qi Dynasty. He successively held the posts of Dianqian, Xiangfu Qicao, Jianzhou Cishi, Jiuqing, Shizhong, xiyanzhou Cishi, taichangqing, Cangzhou Cishi and so on. He died in Cangzhou Cishi during the period of Wuping (578-580). His life story is recorded in the 17th biography of the Northern Qi Dynasty. His father was Zhao Da, who served as a military officer in Youzhou.
Life of the characters
At the end of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, the powerful Minister Gao Huan (emperor Gaozu and Shenwu of the Northern Qi Dynasty) appointed Duan Rong, the founder of the Northern Qi Dynasty, as the governor of Dingzhou, and Zhao Qi as the Dianqian of Duan Rong, with the official position as the commander of Fengche; during the Tianping period (534-537) of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, he served as the prime minister's riding Cao, and was promoted to the official position of zhongsan; after succeeding, Shizong (Gao Cheng, Emperor Wenxiang of the Northern Qi Dynasty) served as the governor of Jianzhou and was promoted to the Minister of Shizhong. Zhao Qi had been in charge of the second cavalry Bureau of the prime minister's house for more than ten years when he was in Gaozu. After Xianzu (King Lieh emperor Gao Yang of the Northern Qi Dynasty) ascended the throne, Zhao Qi no longer served in the local area and returned to the capital. Although he had been in the middle of Jiuqing and Shizhong positions, he often supervised the troops and horses as his own official and was sent to deal with the affairs inside and outside the imperial court. As a close minister entrusted by the emperor, he was close to Zhang Liang and Zhang Yang The glory is equal. Later, he left the central government to serve as the governor of xiyanzhou. He was impeached by the censor, and was limited. After more than a year, what he was impeached could not be found out, and finally he was released. In the second year of Heqing (563 AD), he was transferred back to Jinyang (the other capital and the actual administrative center of the Northern Qi Dynasty);; in the third year of Heqing (565 AD), he was appointed as the Minister of ancestral temple and Kaifu; in the first year of Tiantong (565 AD), he was transferred to taichangqing and led Langxie County; in the second year of Tiantong (566 AD), he was appointed as the governor of Cangzhou and the governor of six prefectures; in Wuping of the Northern Qi Dynasty, he was appointed as the governor of six prefectures( In 578-580, he died in office.
