Personal experience

In 1990, he graduated from the Department of chemistry of Jilin University. In 1995, he received a master's degree from the Department of chemistry of Jilin University. From July 1995 to October 2005, he stayed in Jilin University to teach. In 1999, he received a doctor's degree in inorganic chemistry from the Department of Chemistry of Jilin University. From July 2000 to January 2001, he worked as a postdoctoral in the Department of Applied Chemistry, Department of science and engineering, University of Japan. From February 2001 to February 2003, he worked in research associate, Department of chemistry, Cardiff University, UK. From November 2005 to now, he has worked in the clean energy laboratory, Institute of physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Research direction

Committed to the design, preparation of solar materials and related device research: (1) photoelectric conversion materials to achieve the conversion of light energy to electric energy; (2) photocatalytic materials to achieve the conversion of light energy to chemical energy.

research findings

(1) Design and preparation of functional coordination compounds: design and preparation of various functional complexes (such as porphyrin compounds, molybdenum iron sulfur clusters with catalytic activity and macrocyclic organophosphorus compounds with sandwich structure). (2) a series of solid electrolytes were designed and prepared for dye-sensitized solar cells. (3) a low corrosive, colorless and non iodine redox pair system was proposed. It was found that this electrolyte system was suitable for carbon counter electrode system and high photoelectric conversion efficiency was obtained.
