Tian Bian

Tian Bian

A city on the Kii Peninsula in southern Honshu, Japan. It belongs to hegeshan county. Linjiyi waterway. Population 71000 (1986). The city was established in 1942. As a transportation hub, it has developed commerce. Wood and aquatic products processing are the main production sectors, as well as metal processing and machinery manufacturing. Fishing is also very important.
