Early experience

Shun Wenqi practiced piano, studied martial arts in Peking Opera Troupe, and worked as a badminton player. In 1999, he entered Shanghai Conservatory of music to study vocal music. In the same year, he formed the first punk band "Wind Horse"; in 2003, he went to Central Academy of drama to study.

In 2006, Shun Wenqi donated all the income from "spy Xiaoqiang" to the love construction of many primary schools, such as Pingzhai primary school, Yangchang Town, Dafang County, Guizhou Province. He became the honorary principal of Pingzhai hope primary school in Yangchang Town, Guizhou Province, and participated in the local poverty alleviation work.
