Police intervene to investigate Shenzhen Yuefu residential fire

Regarding the fire and explosion incident that occurred at Yuefu Phase II in Shenzhen on the afternoon of December 11th, on-site rescue personnel stated that the search and rescue work has been completed, and the local police have intervened to investigate the matter. The property staff involved have been taken away by the police station for questioning

The Shenzhen Fire Rescue Brigade previously reported that as of 6:00 pm, the open flames had been extinguished, resulting in one death and no other injuries. The cause of the accident is being further investigated

At around 21:00, staff from Shenzhen Bay Police Station of Nanshan Branch of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau told reporters that the staff of the property involved are cooperating with the investigation and have conducted inquiries. The fire and emergency departments have also intervened to investigate this matter, and a notice will be issued later
