Xingtai Grand Canyon is a national AAAA scenic spot, a national key scenic spot and a national geological park of China. It is located in Hejiaping Village, Luozhen, Southwest Road, Xingtai County, which is 65 kilometers away from Heshun County, Shanxi Province. It has the characteristics of monopolistic quartz sandstone Canyon group and typical cliff sandstone geomorphology. The tourist area is 18 square kilometers, consisting of 24 canyons, of which 8 are over 1000 meters long.

Features of scenic spots

Xingtai Xingtai Grand Canyon is a national AAAA grade scenic spot, national key scenic spot, China National Geopark, also known as Canyon group and Taihang Qixia group. It has been called "World Qixia" by geologists. There are more than ten valuable medicinal materials in the scenic area, such as Ganoderma lucidum, Cordyceps militaris and Polygonum multiflorum, also known as "Longevity Valley". The tourist area of the Grand Canyon scenic area is 18 square kilometers. Twenty-four canyons consist of eight of them reaching kilometers. The Huangchao Gorge in the main Canyon is a graben between mountains, which is more than 4000 meters long and 200 meters deep. The waterfall is the soul of the canyon. Within the Xingtai Grand Canyon, there are five canyons that can be visited by Qixia Group, namely Longmen Gorge, Liushui Gorge, Huangchao Gorge, Zhuhui Gorge and Xian. Human valley. The canyons are cool in summer, with an average temperature of 24 C in July. There are many kinds of trees, shrubs and wildlife. The vegetation in the deep mountains is flourishing, and there are thousands of mu of primary secondary forest, forming a huge "natural oxygen bar". In addition to the remains of the old city Guo, the training ground and the Racing Horse Trestle Road, the names of villages, ancient temples and mountain rocks all left traces and legends related to the Huangchao Rebellion Army. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the 129 Division of the Eighth Route Army built a quilt factory, a paper mill and a printing plant here, and there are still ruins left.

Long mouth Gorge

The first Canyon in the scenic area is Changzui Gorge, commonly known as "the first line of sky", also known as Heping Gorge, which is named after the village in front of it. The gorge is 800 meters long, 20 meters wide and 70 meters high. There are reservoir ruins in the middle of Changzui Gorge. The Hilltop of the valley depression is not formed naturally, but in 1958, when the reservoir dam was built, the directional blasting technology of the former Soviet Union experts was used in our country. After a pile of rubble was exploded, the Soviet Union experts ignored it. Under the circumstances of backward technology, difficult funds and poor equipment, people carried forward the revolutionary spirit of conquering the heaven and went through many years. After a lot of hard work, the reservoir was repaired, and on the wall wrote the bold words of "the old dragon king died of gas, the pangolin died of sorrow". Later, it was destroyed in the great flood that never happened in a hundred years in 1963, so unfortunately, the ruins of the reservoir can only be seen now.

Gorge for the elderly

The old people's gorge, named for its gentle mountain, is very suitable for the elderly to walk. Here is a large area of primitive secondary forest, trees into the forest to shade the sun, cool unusual, is a good place for leisure and vacation.

Flowing Gorge

Liushui Gorge, 3000 meters long, 20 meters wide and 70 meters high. There are many rocky cliffs, stone dragons and honeycomb caves on the winding steep walls of the gorge.

Huang Chao Xia

Huangchao Gorge, 4,000 meters long, generally 1 to 2 meters wide, the narrowest place is only a dozen centimeters, the wall is 150 meters high, where red rock cliffs, dangerous peaks confront, Huangchao once gathered troops here to uprise, look up, blue sky line, overlooking the foot, the water flow is continuous, not far from each other is a waterfall, the river is clear, cool and penetrating. Not far from each other in the isthmus, there is a stone "throat". Every card is a waterfall. Under each waterfall, there is a small stone pool of different sizes, several meters deep and one meter shallow. Every rainy season, waterfalls in groups, very spectacular, at that time, not to mention human walking, even apes are difficult to climb, it is really "difficult isthmus, difficult to go to the sky".

Zhu Hui Gorge

Zhuhui Gorge, 3000 meters long, 10 to 20 meters wide on average, 70 meters high, has a high vegetation coverage, a large area of primary secondary forest, a variety of wildlife and birds. Every March in Yangchun, peach blossoms and apricot blossoms spread all over the mountains, where the mountains are full of flowers and green leaves, just like the paradise of peach. At the same time, it is also the growing place of wild Chinese herbal medicine. There are hundreds of kinds of Chinese herbal medicine, such as ginseng, angelica, Polygonum multiflorum, bupleurum, Coptis chinensis, etc. The mountain across the bend looks like a huge palm, called "Foshou Mountain", while standing on the Tianhe Liang and looking at the mountain is like a giant ship, so it is also called "Taihang Great Wheel". You can also see a huge stone on the upper left, like a slightly opened book on the flat, called "Tianshu", where the name of the Zhuhui Gorge can not be verified at present.

Jinshi house

Wang Pixu, a native of Hejiaping, Xingtai, was a martial artist in the second year of Guangxu Qing Dynasty. Serve as a bodyguard. Its ancient residence and royal residence in the village are well preserved and rare historic sites.

Huang Chao camp

At the end of Tang Dynasty, Huang Chao, the leader of the peasant revolutionary army, set up a camp here, leaving many relics and legends. Huangchaoyan, located in the cliff on the left side of Huangchao Gorge Estuary, is said to be the site of Huangchao Yingzhai. There are original statues of Huangchao and Buddhist temples in the cliff. There are Shenshuijing behind the cliff. Where the villagers prayed for rain before, the temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. There are still broken walls and stone tablets. In addition, the names of Jin Ruo Dian, Yin Ruo Dian, Xinglong Temple, Racing Horse Trestle Road near Huangchaoyan, and other villages outside the Gorge, such as Xueyu and Tianmingguan, are all related to the Huangchao Rebel Army.

Driving line

Under the Beikou of Xingtai on Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway, through Xingtai City, along Xingzuo Highway to Chonghui, westbound to Luluo, northwest to Hejiaping Village. Along the way, there are Longquanshi Gas Station, Prince Well Gas Station and Luluo Gas Station.

Passenger line

From Xingtai Railway Station, you can take No. 3 train from the railway station to Xingxi Bus Station, and the Xingtai-Baian bus from Luluo. The bus runs every 20 minutes. After getting off the bus, the passengers will be sent to the gate of the scenic spot by car. When you come back (at 4 p.m. at the latest), take a car to Luluo and wait for the passing bus.
