Chengdu Mianyang expressway, Chengdu Mianyang double track expressway, Mianyang Suining expressway, Mianyang Guangzhou expressway, mianxi Expressway and Chengdu Denan Expressway run through the whole territory.

Construction of Guangping Expressway (Guangyuan Pingwu), Mianyang Jiuzhaigou Expressway (Mianyang Jiuzhaigou), Mianyang Cangxi Expressway (Mianyang Cangxi) and Chengdu Mianyang expressway have been started, and the expansion of Mianyang Guangzhou expressway is planned.

Mianyang Ring Expressway (South Ring Line) was completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2013.

Mianyang Nanjiao airport is located in the south of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, 10 km away from the city center. In April 2011, Sichuan Airlines officially entered the southern suburb airport of Mianyang. In March 2017, Xiangpeng aviation's Mianyang operation base was established in Mianyang southern suburb airport.
