Shameen
Shameen, once known as Chui Chau, because it is alluvial sand from the Pearl River, known as sand. The sand surface is located in the southwest of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, south of the Pearl River Baigetan, north of the sand base Chung, and 623 Road across an island, there are eight streets, an area of 0.3 square kilometers. In the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the sand surface served as a tourist destination for Chinese and foreign trade. After the Opium War, it became a British and French concession after eleven years of Qing Xianfeng (1861).
