Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park is located in the north head of Rizhao North Coastal Road, Shandong Province. In 1992, it was approved by the former Ministry of Forestry to establish a national seashore National Forest Park in southern Shandong Province on the basis of Dashawa Forest Farm. In 2002, with the approval of the State Forestry Administration, it was formally changed into Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park, with a total area of 8 square kilometers. Forest coverage was 75.8%. The park is bordered by the Yellow Sea in the east, Qingdao in the north, Shijiu highway in the West and coastal highway in the south. The Park belongs to the continental climate in the warm temperate humid monsoon area. The tree species structure of the park is dominated by Japanese black pine, which is an important part of coastal shelter forest in Rizhao City. Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park is AAAA class scenic spot.

Location context

Rizhao Coastal National Forest Park is located in the north of Rizhao North Coastal Road, Shandong Province. It is bordered by the Yellow Sea in the east, Qingdao in the north, two (city) stone (mortar) highways in the west, and coastal highway in the south. The park is 15 kilometers away from the city center. After expansion in 2002, the total area was 8 square kilometers, the forest area was about 6 square kilometers, and the forest coverage rate was 75.8%.

Most of the park landforms are ebb sediment beaches in the Yellow Sea, with flat terrain, long north and south, narrow East and west, high north and low south, 7 km across the coastline, and an average width of 200 meters in the intertidal zone.

Climatic characteristics

The Park belongs to the continental climate in the warm temperate humid monsoon area. Due to the adjustment of the ocean, it has the characteristics of windy, humid, moderate rainfall and pleasant climate. The average annual temperature of the region is 12.2 C, 23.9 C in summer, 0.5 C in winter, 868.5 mm in annual rainfall and 72 in annual relative temperature.

Most of the plants in Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park are planted artificially, mainly black pine, cedar, poplar, metasequoia, purple locust, locust and other tree species , forsythia, cherry, lotus, Persian chrysanthemum, magnolia, peony and other flowers , Rizhao green tea is the northernmost tea in China .

Animal resources

The wild animals in Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park include seagulls, magpies, shrikes and cuckoos. Artificially cultured seafood includes prawns, swimming crabs, Xishi tongue, etc., and gray magpies are also domesticated.

Main attractions

Forest Scenic Area

Located in the east of the park management office and west of the coastal road, the area is mainly composed of metasequoia, black pine, cedar, locust and other tree species. The forest scenic area can be divided into two parts: the emerald sub-area and the Lin Hai sub-area. The Pinnacle sub-region is divided into coastal spring dawn, forest shade seeking seclusion, picking garden and cedar garden. The Linhai sub-region is divided into forest maze and Mongolian style garden.

Coastal tourist area

Located on the coast of the park, the area has such scenic spots as Harmonious Coast, Seashore Flower Sea, Golden Beach of Forest Park, Seawater Bath, Jiangtaigong Fishing Center and Seashore Zoo.

Taigong Cultural Area

Taigong Cultural Park was built to commemorate Jiang Shang, a famous militarist and politician in the Warring States Period. There are Jiangtai Princess Hall, Haishi Shanmeng, Cuiliuhe Pavilion, Jiangtaigong Cultural Park and other scenic spots.

Infrastructure

In 1992, Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park was established on the basis of Dashawa Forest Farm approved by the former Ministry of Forestry.

Since 1999, Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park has entered a stage of accelerated development. The park has become an important part of the coastal tourist area in Shandong Province's tourism planning "Five Areas First Line". It is the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions in the city, and has been ranked as the top ten new scenic spots in Mountaineering East Province.

From 2003 to 2007, the priority tourism projects of Shandong Province, "Sun City Theme Park" and "Four Seasons Seawater Bath" have been selected as forest parks.

Self-driving route

(1) Beijing-Shanghai Expressway-Ridong Expressway-Rizhaokou-Yingbin Avenue-Wanpingkou Tourist Area-Binhai Road will arrive 15 kilometers northward, and it will take about 30 minutes to get off the Expressway.

(2) Beijing-Shanghai Expressway-Ridong Expressway-Tongsan Expressway heading northward-Rizhao northward-Shanhai Road-Qingdao Road heading northward for 10 kilometers. It takes about 30 minutes to get off the Expressway.

Historical humanism

Jiang Taigong Culture

Jiang Shang, famous teeth, or ziziya, is also known as the flying bear, also known as Taigong. The textual research of historical materials refers to Rizhao people in Shandong Province. There is Jiang Taigong Memorial Hall in Rizhao Seashore National Forest Park. The first Jiang Taigong Fishing Festival in Rizhao, Shandong Province was held on July 2, 2001.
