The city has built 2 provincial environmental protection model cities, 6 provincial ecological counties (cities), 12 national ecological towns, 87 Provincial Ecological Villages and 23 provincial ecological villages. There are 2 National Nature Reserves with an area of 59807 hectares.

In 2018, the daily treatment capacity of urban sewage treatment plant will reach 316000 cubic meters, and the urban sewage treatment rate will reach 92.35%.
