In 2019, Neijiang City will host 8 provincial and above sports competitions, 50 municipal sports meetings and 759 "happy weekend" activities; Neijiang sports athletes will win 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 6 bronze medals in international and domestic competitions; 351 farmers' sports fitness projects will be added throughout the year; 2.051 million sports venues will be opened to the public free of charge; and the sales of sports lottery tickets will be 203 million 174 poor student athletes were supported by sports lottery public welfare fund.
