In 2019, the sown area of grain crops in Nanchong is 558000 ha, which is 0.15% lower than that in 2018. The sown area of oil crops is 152000 ha, an increase of 1.9% over that in 2018. The vegetable planting area is 154000 hectares, an increase of 3.9% over that in 2018.
In 2019, the total grain output of Nanchong will be 3.0778 million tons, an increase of 0.2% over that in 2018. Among them, summer grain output was 592000 tons, an increase of 1.0% over 2018; autumn grain output was 2485800 tons, an increase of 0.03% over 2018. Among the economic crops, oil production was 409500 tons, an increase of 2.4% over 2018; vegetable output was 3.7779 million tons, an increase of 5.2% over 2018; garden fruit output was 554100 tons, an increase of 5.4% over 2018.
In 2019, 4.7615 million pigs were sold in Nanchong, a decrease of 28.8% compared with that in 2018; 122100 pigs were put into the market, an increase of 4.5% over 2018; and 1.964300 sheep were put into the market, an increase of 3.9% over 2018. The total output of meat in the whole year was 476900 tons, 18.3% lower than that in 2018.
In 2019, Nanchong aquaculture area is 14800 hectares, an increase of 1.8% over 2018. The output of aquatic products was 115300 tons, an increase of 2.5% over 2018. Among them, the output of aquaculture aquatic products was 111500 tons, an increase of 2.7% compared with that in 2018; the output of fishing aquatic products was 3900 tons, a decrease of 3.5% compared with that in 2018.
In 2019, the total power of agricultural machinery in Nanchong will be 53700 kW, and the total power of agricultural machinery at the end of the year will be 3033700 kW, an increase of 1.8% over 2018.
