Located in Checun Town, Songxian County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, Luoyang Muzhaling is a National Nature Reserve of Funiu Mountain and a world geological park.

Henan Province is the first primitive eco-tourism area with a total area of 125 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 98.5%. Among them, the tourist area covers an area of 400,000 square kilometers, and no one has traced more than 200,000 square kilometers.

Muzaling Primitive Forest is a kingdom of plants and a paradise for animals. It contains 1886 species of national protected plants, such as Ligustrum chinensis, Ulmus chinensis, Photinia, and 188 species of higher animals, including leopard, roe deer and antelope.

The huge and tight biological chain of animals and plants shows the miracle of nature. The average daily temperature in summer is not more than 26 degrees Celsius, which is the best place for summer recreation and health preservation.

Main attractions

The whole area of Muzhaling in Luoyang is composed of Jiubanggou, primitive forest and Guanmaofeng. There are more than 200 scenic spots such as Tianhe Waterfall, Bailong Collision, Lubanling and Guanmaofeng Peak.

Official Cap Peak rises abruptly 300 meters tall and tall, resembling official cap, resembling human face, carrying the beautiful myth of Yiyin, the first phase of China.

Among them, the eight scenic spots of Muzhaling in Luoyang include: Guanmao Tiancheng, Tianhe Fallfall, Ancient Wood and Forest, Lingshi Miaoyu, Liuquan Yingcui, Yunhai Immortal Mirror, Pine Birch Moon Shadow and Wooden Tower Yiqing. There are thousands of ancient trees on the mountain, a sea of trees, waterfalls everywhere under the mountain, rainflower pool, Bailong waterfall, Longjing, Longtan, or slump, or rivulet, in various forms and scenes.

The primitive forest sea, ancient trees towering in the sky, exotic peaks emerged, and the scenery was surrounded. The complete primitive ecosystem was rare in the Central Plains, and the unique stone scenery was rare in North China. The Muzhaling Scenic Area of the World Geopark has convenient transportation, 120 kilometers away from Luoyang. Zhengshi Expressway, 311 National Highway and Linmu Highway directly reach the Scenic Area. The scenic area is adjacent to Shiren Mountain and Baiyun Mountain from east to west.
