By the end of 2018, Leshan City had 3259 health institutions (including village clinics). Among them, there are 102 hospitals, 207 health centers, 12 maternal and child health centers (stations, stations), 12 centers for Disease Control and prevention, 12 health supervision centers, 1 blood station, 1 Health Education Institute, 35 community health service centers (stations), 597 clinics, and 36 health centers and clinics. There are 26858 health workers. Among them, there are 20555 health technicians. There were 7807 practicing (Assistant) doctors, 9271 registered nurses (teachers), 1037 pharmacists, 783 laboratory workers and 1262 other health technicians. At the end of the year, there were 24063 beds in medical institutions. Among them, there were 17644 hospitals and 5073 health centers. The incidence rate of three kinds of infectious diseases in the city is 464.47/10 million. The maternal mortality rate was 11.08/100000, the infant mortality rate was 4.02 ‰, and the mortality rate of children under 5 years old was 5.61 ‰.
