Jiangbulak Scenic Area

Jiangbulak Scenic Area is located in the low mountain belt 58 kilometers southeast of Qitai County, Xinjiang, China. It includes wide gully scenic area and Yangwatan beach, the scale of which is second only to Tianchi. There are seven pools in the main scenic spot to form a group of lakes.

There are seven pools in the main scenic spot which form a lake group. Three of them are in the low place. The rest are mosaic on the grassy hillside, which looks like the Big Dipper from afar. Not far to the west is the alpine grassland Jiangbulak, where water and grass are flourishing, mountains and flowers are everywhere, full of verdant.

Catering accommodation

There are carpet houses for farmers and herdsmen in Jiangbulak Grassland where they can live and have meals, but the prices are more expensive. If you want to stay, you can recommend to the town of Half Gully outside the scenic spot. The price is very affordable. In addition, some food and drinking water are recommended before entering the scenic area.

Take a bus from Urumqi to Qitai County. There are direct buses to the scenic spots in Qitai County.

Self driving

From Urumqi to Turpan-Ukraine Highway, to Dahuangshan Happy Intersection, along Daqi Highway to Qitai Toll Station, according to the scenic area propaganda signs.

Main attractions

It's not far from the Seltai Canyon. There's a cave in the canyon that makes a "buzzing" air flow. Strangely, you don't feel the wind. In addition, the cabins scattered in the grass around you make people feel a kind of mystery. The mysterious and unpredictable General Gobi hides a mysterious and unpredictable ancient city outline. This kind of landform is composed of various sedimentary rocks of Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. After the erosion of rainwater and the cutting of wind, it has formed such a gorgeous and colorful natural landscape for a long time.
