In 2018, the total industrial added value of Guangyuan was 30.018 billion yuan, an increase of 9.4% over the previous year. The contribution rate of industry to economic growth is 44.3%, which drives economic growth by 3.7 percentage points.

The added value of industries above designated size increased by 10.8%. Among them, heavy industry increased by 9.6%; light industry increased by 12.7%. In terms of categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 8.9%, the manufacturing industry by 11.3%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 9.1%. In terms of industries, the added value of 32 of the 35 industry categories increased, with a growth rate of 91.4%. In terms of industries, the output value of six advantageous industries, including food and beverage, new (type) materials, clean energy and chemical industry, mechanical and electronic, biological medicine and building materials and home furnishings, reached 85.261 billion yuan, an increase of 17.8%, and its contribution rate to the growth of industrial output value above designated size was 82.5%. In terms of products, the output of 112 of the 142 industrial products monitored by statistics increased by 78.9%.

In the whole year, the main business income of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size reached 99.725 billion yuan, an increase of 18.0% over the previous year; the sales rate of products was 98.5%, down 0.2 percentage points over the previous year; the total profit was 7.332 billion yuan, an increase of 29.5%; the total profit and tax was 9.898 billion yuan, an increase of 25.6%; the contribution rate of total assets was 15.0%, increased by 1.7%; the asset liability ratio was 60.3%, decreased by 0.7%; the turnover rate of current assets was 4.3 times, 4 times.

In the whole year, the added value of the construction industry was 5.842 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9% over the previous year. The total output value of Construction Enterprises above the qualification level was 21.874 billion yuan, an increase of 28.0%; the construction area of houses was 11.4478 million square meters, an increase of 3.4%; the completed area of houses was 3.4827 million square meters, an increase of 18.9%, of which the residential area was 2333700 square meters, an increase of 25.3%.
