Dameisha Beach Park

Dameisha Beach Park was built on June 18, 1999 with a total investment of 120 million yuan. It is a 5A-class tourist attraction in Guangdong Province. Located in the eastern part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the charming Bank of the Dapeng Bay. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a gentle open space in the middle and a 1,800-meter beach facing the sea.

Dameisha Beach Park, as one of the ten private facts of Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Government in 1999, is open to the public free of charge. Dameisha seaside park has unique mountain and sea landscape resources. The park is surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the sea, and in the middle is a gentle open beach.

It was built by the Shenzhen Municipal Government in 1999. ATKINS is responsible for the detailed planning and overall coordination of Dameisha District. The Shenzhen Branch of the Landscape Planning and Architectural Design Institute of Beijing Forestry University is responsible for the planning and design of Dameisha Waterfront Park. SGD Design and Planning Company of Singapore is responsible for the architectural design of Dameisha Waterfront Park. The SWA environment and landscape design company of the United States takes the advice of salt plum road seaside viewing road. The planning and design of Dameisha Beach Park fully takes into account the natural landscape advantages of the combination of mountains and seas, and the view corridor covered by green shade connects the large and small square with coconut trees and colorful flowers as the main line. The lawn parking lot is covered with loquats.

Dameisha seaside park is one of the ten facts that Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government run by the people in 1999. It was officially opened to the public on May 1, 1999 without tickets. It was formally completed on June 18, 1999, with a total investment of 120 million yuan. Dameisha Beach Park covers a total area of 360,000 square meters, of which the total length of the beach is about 1.8 km, the total area of the beach is 180,000 square meters, the green area of the park is 100,000 square meters, and the area of the lake is 80,000 square meters.

Since its free opening on May 1, 1999, Dameisha Coastal Park has received more than 20 party and state leaders, including Li Peng, Zhu Yanji, Wei Hiking, Qian Qichen, Li Changchun, Wu Bangguo, Zou Jiahua and Qiao Shi, more than 500 provincial and ministerial party and government leaders, more than 40 million tourists, and reached a peak of more than 210,000 times a day. The news media, the public, overseas guests and superior leaders all gave high appraisal to the construction and management of the coastal park.

Dameisha seaside park has become a model for the municipal and district governments to show the quality of Shenzhen's urban construction to the outside world.

The comprehensive renovation project of Dameisha seaside park with a total investment of about 130 million yuan will be completed before May 1, 2017. In order to alleviate a series of problems caused by the serious overload of tourists, Dameisha Seaside Park plans to implement the "free booking" management mode during the peak season (May to October), when tourists enter Dameisha, they need to make advance bookings.
