Niulang and Zhinu Scenic Spot

Niulang Zhinu Scenic Area is located in Yanya Town, southeast of Yiyuan County, Shandong Province, 15 kilometers away from the county town. The scenic area is mainly composed of Daxianshan Mountain and Yihe River, 532 meters above sea level, covering an area of about 4.5 square kilometers with a forest coverage rate of 92.7%. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national water Conservancy Scenic spot, a national geological park, a provincial scenic spot, a provincial forest park and a cultural industry in Zibo City. Demonstration base. The love story of Cowherd and Weaver Girl, a beautiful love legend widely circulated among Chinese people, happened here.

Scenery

The main attractions of the scenic spot are Zhinu Cave, Niulang Temple, World Love Stamp Museum, Niulang Zhinu Folklore Exhibition Hall, Leaf Seed Ginkgo biloba, Zhinu Spring, Jiuzhong Tower, Jade Emperor Temple, Silent Hall, Sister Spring, Prayer Pavilion and other humanistic landscapes and various stone inscriptions.

Cowboy Temple

Niulang Temple is one of the main scenic spots in this area. According to literary and historical records, Niulang Temple was built in the seventh year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1579), and began to take shape after the renovation in the twentieth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1815). Niulang Temple is also a two-storey attic building with blue bricks and tiles and painted domes. Located on the opposite bank of the Yihe River, it is across the river from Zhinudong. According to literary and historical records, Niulang Temple was built in the seventh year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1579). Niulang Temple is also a two-storey attic building with green bricks and blue tiles, painted arches, statues of Niulang and his children in the temple, and a statue of Taurus lying next to it. Now it has collapsed and only remains. The village where Niulang Temple is located is called Niulang Guancun. The legendary Niulang's surname is Sun, whose name is righteous, while Niulang Guancun is a single surname village surnamed Sun. Today, the old people in Niulang Guancun still consider themselves as the descendants of Niulang. The custom of raising silkworms, farming and "begging for Qishui" has been followed to this day.

Weaver's cave

More than 10 kilometers south of Yiyuan County, it arrived at the northern foot of Daxian Mountain covered by green vegetation, but there were huge rocks, cliffs such as cutting, pine and cypress hanging upside down, and a beautiful scenery. Walking along the mountain road for a moment, there is a small mountain gate on the right side of the cliff, which is the courtyard gate of Zhinu Cave. On the lime wall inside the gate building, the book contains the seven-sentence "Autumn Evening" written by Du Mu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, which guides visitors into the time-space tunnel interwoven by history and myth: the cold screen of silver candle and autumn light, and the fluorescent light of a small fan. There are several ancient monuments in the cave. The earliest age can be traced back to the Song Dynasty. The color statues of Zhinu and Queen Mother are sitting on the second floor, with a dressing table and dormitory on the left side. On the front face of the second floor of the pavilion, there is a window under the upper circle, which allows the affectionate Zhinu to sit at the end of the window, facing the Niulang on the other side of the river.

Leaf Seed Ginkgo biloba

The leaf seed Ginkgo biloba is located 17.5 km southeast of Yiyuan County, Shandong Province, at the north foot of Daxian Mountain, southwest of Zhinuxian Cave and Sanqingdian Temple, 350 m above sea level, northeast of the hillside, middle and lower part of Daxian Mountain with a slope of 10 degrees. The small terrain is concave and the leeward wind is sunny. Upper soil bedrock is purple shale with a thickness of 70 cm; vegetation is flourishing in the small environment, and there are yellow oak and hazelnut in the jungle; there is a clear spring in it, with continuous running water all the year round, which belongs to a cool microclimate. Tree age is about 600 years, tree height is 25.4m, chest circumference is 3.21m, trunk diameter is 1.05m. There are six main branches in the whole tree, the maximum diameter of the main branch is 0.6 m, the minimum diameter of the main branch is 0.28 m, and the average diameter of the main branch is 0.35 M. The crown cover area is 266 m and the crown width is 16.3 cm 20.5 M. The thick bark is grayish-brown, deeply split, rough and not easily detached. According to many years'observation, leaf-seeded ginkgo trees appear once a year in three years. The annual yield of white fruit is l00kg in big year and 50kg in small year. Artificial pollination improved the annual characteristics of Ginkgo biloba fruit, with an average annual yield of 300 kg of white fruit and 1500 kg of fresh fruit in 1995. According to the determination, 60% of the normal fruit, 20% of the leaf-seed fruit and 20% of the heteromorphic fruit of the tree. 432 normal seeds per kg and 656 leaf seeds per Lz. Leaf seeds are solid like cottonseed with thin skin and complete embryonic development, good germination ability and heredity.

History

Niulang and Zhinu Scenic Spot has a rich cultural heritage. It has the only ancient architectural site in China with the theme of Niulang and Zhinu folklore. It is called "the source of Chinese love culture" by experts. Geomorphological features vividly show the "Milky Way in the sky", "Underground Yihe River", "Cowherd and Weaver Girl" in the sky and "Cowherd Palace in the Weaver Girl Cave" in the underground, forming the wonders of "Milky Way in the sky, Yihe on the ground", "Imaging in the sky, and shaping in the earth", which is the only cultural relic that "Legend of Cowherd and Weaver Girl" can find in China at present corresponding to the real scene.

In 2006, Zhinudong was approved by Shandong people as the provincial key cultural relics protection unit; in August 2007, the first National Academic Symposium on "Legend of Cowherd and Weaver Girl" was held in Yiyuan, which was awarded "Legend of Cowherd and Weaver Girl" by the Chinese Folklore Society; in June 2008, the legend of Cowherd and Weaver Girl in Yiyuan was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list; in August 2008, the second "Cowherd and Weaver Girl" symposium was held in Yiyuan. The Symposium on the legend of Lang Zhinu was held in Beijing, and Yiyuan, as the "source of Chinese love culture", was fully recognized by the academic circles. In April 2009, CCTV's "Exploration and Discovery" program focused on broadcasting the large-scale historical and cultural documentary "Yiyuan Cowherd and Weaver Girl Tracking", which had a great impact at home and abroad. In 2010, the World Love Stamp Museum successfully declared the largest collection of stamps with the same theme (love) in Guinness, Shanghai. In 2010, it won the title of "Brand Shandong" as the most competitive tourist attraction, and in 2011, it won the title of "Ten Most Beautiful Scenic Spots of China (Shandong) with the most humanistic characteristics".

Relevant Legends

The scenic spot is connected with the legend of Cowherd and Weaver Girl. It is a beautiful love story that has been circulated for thousands of years and has become one of the four major folk love legends in China.

Legend has it that some people passed through the cave and heard the voice of chirping machines. They felt very magical. Then they worshipped the statue of Zhinu in the cave. In the village opposite Zhinu Cave, there was a Niulang Temple in the Ming Dynasty, which complemented and echoed the Zhinu Cave on the cliff. It is said that this kind of landscape is only one place in China, so it is called "the extinct scenery of China's tourism resources" by the news media. In 1997, it was promulgated as the key cultural relics protection unit of Zibo City and the stone marker of Yiyuan County People's Government.
