Namcha Barwa Namjag Barwa

Located at the junction of the Himalayas, Nyinqingtanggula and Hengduan Mountains, Mt. Namjabawa is the highest mountain in the Linzhi region of Tibet, China, at an altitude of 7,782 meters. It is located at the eastern end of the Himalayas (Mt. Namja-Palpat, Kashmir, west of the Himalayas, to the great bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River, east of the Himalayas). The South Kal Ba Ba peak is 2400 km long.

It is the holy place of Tibet's oldest Buddhist "Yong Zhong Ben Jiao", and it is called "the father of mountains in Tibet". At the same time, the adjacent Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon rounded him in a horseshoe-shaped bend and then extended toward the Indian Ocean. It also has another name, Mt. Muzhubar. Its huge triangular peak is covered with snow and mist all the year round and never shows its true colors easily. So it is also called Mt. Shame Woman. There are many explanations of Namjabawa in Tibet and Manchuria, one is "thunder and lightning burning like fire", "spear piercing the sky", "stone falling from the Tianshan Mountains". The latter name comes from "Menling I" in the biography of King Gesar, in which Namjabawa is depicted as "spear piercing the sky".
