Guang'an waterway
Guang'an port is a "port group" composed of Guang'an port area, Huaying port area, Yuechi port area and wusheng port area distributed in Guang'an section of Qujiang River and Jialing River. Guang'an port is an important support for industrial layout, logistics transportation and economic development in Northeast Sichuan, which is of great significance to promote the development of industrial belt along the river and the development of hinterland resources. The first phase of the new east gate operation area of Guang'an port, the first modern port in Northeast Sichuan, was officially opened for trial operation on January 15, 2013, with an additional handling capacity of 150000 TEUs. On January 15, 2013, the port berths 5 and 6 were put into trial operation.
Guangan Nanchong Guangyuan port group is an important part of "four rivers and six ports" in Sichuan Province.
