Meishan City honor
In November 2015, Meishan city was listed as the second batch of national new urbanization comprehensive pilot areas. In 2016, Meishan city was awarded the title of the first tourist destination in the Asia Pacific region (second and third tier cities).
In September 2017, it was awarded the title of "2013-2016 national excellent city for comprehensive management of social security".
On December 14, 2017, Meishan city was rated as the fourth civilized prefecture level city of Sichuan Province.
On August 28, 2019, Meishan city was selected into the list of the fourth batch of pilot areas supported by the central government to carry out the reform of home-based and community-based elderly care services.
On November 15, 2019, Meishan city was awarded the title of "National Forest City".
On June 9, 2020, Meishan city was awarded the advanced municipal Party committee and government of Sichuan Province in promoting the development of service industry.
In November 2020, it was selected as "the sixth national civilized city".
On November 28, 2020, it was rated as a livable and industrial city in China in 2020.
