There are 3.912 million mobile phone users and 681700 fixed telephone users, including 417200 urban telephone users and 264500 rural telephone users. The telephone penetration rate is 140.07 units per 100 people. There are 1055700 Internet cable broadband users.
A total of 13.388 billion yuan of postal and telecommunications services were completed, up 144.1% over the previous year.
