There are many kinds of biological resources in Suining. There are more than 1500 varieties or strains of biological resources found and utilized in Suining, including more than 1000 plant resources and 367 cultivated varieties of crops. The territory belongs to subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest area, with forest coverage of 32%, which is the first greening standard city in the province. There are about 437 species of trees, among which there are many national protected plants and rare trees. For example, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ginkgo biloba, cycas, ormosia, and unique ancient cypress, banyan, etc. The main tree species are olive oil, walnut oil and so on.
