Zhan Chunyao

Zhan Chunyao is the winner of the 26th Chinese Drama Plum Blossom award. In 1978, he was admitted to the Chu opera Department of Hubei opera school. He graduated in 1985 and was assigned to Hubei local opera art theater. At present, he is vice president of Hubei local opera art theater, national first-class actor, member of China Dramatist Association, vice chairman of Hubei Dramatist Association, and enjoys expert allowance from Hubei provincial government.

Main achievements

The actor is exquisite, simple and generous. He is good at singing and portraying different characters. He is a good singer and writer. Since becoming an artist, the actor has created many vivid artistic images on the stage. He has successively starred in many Chu operas, such as Oriental tax official, Dabieshan people, butterfly cup, three dozen golden branches, civet cat for Prince and so on. He has also created other operas, such as Huangmei Opera paradise dream, heshibi, Beijing Opera rough man and beautiful woman, Yicheng Huagu opera Song Yu Elegy and so on He plays the leading role in the movie. He has recorded many CDs of Chu opera, and recorded an album in the program "appreciation of famous opera" of CCTV opera channel, which has been highly praised by people inside and outside the industry.

He has won the "excellent performance award" of the national modern drama exchange performance, the "excellent talent award" of the sixth Qu Yuan literature and Art Award of Hubei Province, the "excellent performance award" of the new work performance of Hubei Province, the third Hubei drama peony award, and the "Wenhua Performance Award" of the Eighth China Art Festival, and won the first Hubei drama peony award in 2008.
