In 1993, Xin Baiqing was admitted to the performance Department of the Central Academy of drama.

Personal life
Xin Baiqing and his wife Zhu Yuanyuan are college classmates, and they have always been quite low-key. In August 2008, the daughter of Xin Baiqing and his wife was born.
