In the movie crow and sparrow, the characterization, scene scheduling, lens processing, and even the use of details all reflect Zheng Junli's deep understanding and expressive ability of the film characteristics. He is good at the scene scheduling of the masses, distributing the characters in the front, middle and back scenes of the screen, and expanding the indoor and outdoor scenes incisively and vividly with the rise and fall of the camera.
Zheng Junli's artistic experience and multiple identities make his film creation full of more conscious exploration spirit. He boldly mobilized various means to explore the expression of film time and space, consciously and tenaciously explored the nationalization of film, and enthusiastically pursued the film language of the new era. At the same time, he can't get rid of the imprint of the stage, form a personalized image style, and experience the twists and turns of art with contradictions and difficulties in the changes of the times. Zheng Junli changed from a drama actor to a movie actor, directing a drama first and then a movie, so he has considerable practical experience in both drama and movie. His unremitting research in the theory of drama and film has enabled him to have a more conscious and in-depth grasp of the inheritance and differences between drama and film, as well as the characteristics of film. Moreover, Zheng Junli attaches great importance to the design and selection of film sets and scenes, and combines the modeling characteristics of space with scene scheduling and depth of field shots to interpret the film with a rich and vivid sense of space (review of contemporary film).
