Hangzhou foreign language school, founded in 1964, is one of the first foreign language schools to be built in China. It is proposed by Premier Zhou Enlai and Foreign Minister Chen Yi to cultivate senior foreign language talents to meet the development needs of China's opening up. At present, our school is one of the 17 famous foreign language schools in China. It enjoys the qualification of 20% recommended students recognized by the Ministry of education. It is a key middle school directly under the Education Department of Zhejiang Province.
