In 1999, he took part in the film of Mao Zedong, the founding leader of the people's Republic of China, directed by Yang Guangyuan and presented for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China. He played Mao anying and won the first prize of the 20th flying sky Award for long TV series.
