Gu Baolian, one of the famous child stars in 1920s, is the daughter of Gu Wuwei and Lin Ruxin.

The daughter of Gu Wuwei and Lin Ruxin, one of the famous child stars in the 1920s. In 1925, when he was 6 years old, he played a role with his biological mother, Lin Ruxin, in the film who is the mother made by the Greater China film company. The films performed in 1926 included good widow, hell heaven, lotus Princess and so on. In 1927, he starred in "Nezha naohai" and other films. Later, he also played a stage play. He played the prince in "Lotus Prince", which was well received. In 1928, he played a role in such films as the little hero splitting the mountain to save his mother and the red boy. After entering the 1930s, he stopped acting. When the wedding was held in 1936, all the stars at that time, such as Hu Die, attended the ceremony and stayed in the mainland with her husband and children after liberation. He died in Shanghai in March 2010.
