He has successively served as a military doctor of Anesthesiology Department of Chest Hospital of PLA and a resident of Anesthesiology Department of Fuwai Hospital. Life track

In 1981, he went to the United States to study. Professor Hu Xiaoqin has been engaged in anesthesia and cardiopulmonary bypass in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery since he graduated from university. Since taking part in the animal experiment of extracorporeal circulation in 1958, it has been successfully used in clinic in 1959. After 40 years of clinical practice, it has accumulated rich experience in treatment. Master all kinds of congenital and acquired diseases skillfully. Anesthesia treatment and technical operation of internal diseases. Familiar with various cardiopulmonary bypass machines and methods. In 1978, we carried out open heart surgery for infants and young children. In 1983, we took charge of the anesthesia and extracorporeal circulation of deep hypothermic circulatory arrest for infants and young children. According to the specific conditions of our country, we explored a set of practical methods and applied them in clinical practice. The technology has reached the international level.
