Fang Ying

Fang Ying (1921-2011), a famous actor and director, was born in Anqing, Anhui Province. Born on December 26, 1921, he studied in private school in Anqing when he was a child. After that, he studied in the Experimental Primary School Affiliated to Anhui provincial high school and the first junior high school. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, his hometown was occupied and he fled to Wuhan to study in the national No.8 Middle School. Later, he went to Xiushan County (now Chongqing) of Sichuan Province to continue his study.

Life experience

In 1949, he joined nanqun film company as an actor. In the early days of the founding of new China, some Hong Kong and Macao film workers returned to the mainland to participate in the founding of new China's film industry. They worked as actors in the East film, played an important role in the invisible front, played the role of Wang Jian in the way of love, and played Han Si in the film the great Xia of new Kanto.

In 1951, he entered the Beijing film studio and began to turn into a director. He was transferred to the director of the dubbed film and director of the art department. In the film "towards new China" as a deputy director.
