In 2000, Wang Xiaoli and Li Lin married. Not long after their marriage, Wang Xiaoli and his wife performed in Heping Grand Theater in Changchun and signed a three-year contract.

Personal life
Wang Shizhuan's parents in Heilongjiang Province spent their childhood performing in Heilongjiang Province. After junior high school, Wang Xiaoli began to learn Errenzhuan with his parents in a small folk class. Later, someone introduced him to a partner named Li Lin. they sang together for three times and felt very good about each other. Before meeting Li Lin, Wang Xiaoli had a failed marriage: the couple lacked communication because of their work. In the seventh year, they divorced peacefully.
In the second half of 1998, Wang Xiaoli went to Changchun Heping Grand Theater to sing Errenzhuan.
In May 2000, Wang Xiaoli and Li Lin held a wedding in their hometown Nenjiang.
