Hou Kai

Hou Kai, male, Han nationality, was born in April 1962 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. He started work in August 1984 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1987. He graduated from the Department of finance of the Central Institute of Finance with a bachelor's degree in economics.

He is now member of the Standing Committee of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Secretary of the Party group and Auditor General of the audit office.

On June 30, 2020, the 20th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress approved the appointment of Hou Kai as the auditor general of the audit office. Hou Kai was removed from his post as a member of the national supervisory commission.
