Wu Tiange, born in Shanghai, is a director from the mainland of China. He graduated from the director department of Shanghai Academy of drama and majored in film directing at grade 86.

In 1993, he directed his first film, detective passion. In 1997, he won the best director award of the 6th Shanghai International TV festival for his love drama like spring. In 2001, he directed the TV movie 13th name. In 2003, the plot film "warm winter" directed by him was released, which won the best detective film award of Moscow Film Festival. In 2006, he won the outstanding director award of the 7th film channel digital film Lily Award for his plot film hops. In 2010, he directed the plot film "frontline drug enforcement", which won the 11th China digital film "lily Award". In 2014, he directed the biographical film Mao Zedong in Shanghai 1924. In 2016, he directed the comedy film hijacked love.
