Huang Jin, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1958 in Lichuan, Hubei Province. He started work in August 1975 and joined the Communist Party of China in May 1980. He has a postgraduate degree, doctor of law, professor and doctoral supervisor. He was the president and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of China University of political science and law.
He is now vice president of China law society, President of China Society of international law, President of China Society of private international law, and vice president of China foundation for human rights development.

He has successively served as the director of the Institute of international law of Wuhan University (the key research base of Humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of education of China), vice president of the school of law, assistant president, assistant president and Minister of academic affairs, director and vice president of the Institute of Higher Education.
In 2009, he went to China University of political science and law from Wuhan University.
In July 2015, he served as vice president of China judicial Research Association.
In December 2016, he was a member of the Third Council of China foundation for human rights development.
On August 24, 2018, he was appointed by the Supreme People's court as the first group of expert members of the international commercial Expert Committee.
In May 2019, Huang Jin will no longer serve as president and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of China University of political science and law.

He has won the title of the first ten "outstanding young jurists", the special award for excellent teachers of Baosteel Education Award, and the "excellent young teachers of colleges and universities award" of the Ministry of education of China.
