The era drama lotus, which was invested and filmed by China television, is now being shot in the suburbs of Beijing. Yu Tong plays the role of the despondent aristocrat fubelle in the drama. In this performance of lotus, Yu Tong shaves his hair for the first time, with a cotton hat and cotton padded clothes on his body. His despondent appearance is very vivid.

Taking the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China as the background, the play tells the story of Beijing's efforts to get a national treasure from the losing king to the common people. Zou Jingzhi, the author of the original work, is good at creating stories of that period. Many leading characters in the play, including Yu Tong, who plays the role of fubelle, are native to Beijing. He was born in a family of Liyuan. Yu Jusheng, his great grandfather, Yu Zhenting, his grandfather, Yu Bulan, his father, Yu Dalu, and his brother, Yu Lei, are famous actors of five generations. Yu Tong has been influenced by traditional art and culture since he was a child. Growing up in such an environment, Yu Tong knows a lot about the culture of old Beijing.

In his life, Yu Tong is gentle, drinking tea, singing opera and playing with flowers and birds. He retains the traditional hobbies of old Beijing people and has the style of a Beijing master. When shooting at work, Yu Tong is unambiguous and dedicated. The director saw the shadow of Fowler from him and invited him to play the role. Yu Tong, out of his love for the play and the characters, sacrificed his image, shaved his hair for the first time, put on a flag dress like Baylor, and changed into a cotton padded jacket to make the down and down aristocratic look more vivid.
