Lin Yang

Lin Yang (1932-2007), Taiwan native actor. Lin Yang, a veteran Taiwanese actor who won the Golden Horse Award for "super citizen", died of heart failure at Tainan Chengda hospital on December 28. He was 75 years old. The farewell ceremony was held at 7:30 am on January 2, 2007 at Tainan funeral home.

Life of the characters

Lin Yang was born in 1932. As a young man, he joined a Taiwanese opera company and toured all over Taiwan. After that, he successively performed the Taiwanese TV series "who knows what's on his mind" and "lotus in the snow". In 1996, director Wan renchou filmed "super citizen". The story tells of a white terrorist who, after many years in prison, drags his sick and weak body and insists on looking for the burial place of his old friend, just because he wants to offer incense to him to make atonement. Lin Yang's son and daughter are devoted to the care of their father. At the last moment, they planned to keep a low profile and not disturb old relatives and friends in Taipei. They only held a farewell ceremony in Tainan. But the other day, when his son and daughter were throwing a cudgel in front of Lin Yangling, they realized that his father still wanted to say goodbye to his old friends, so they called Wan Ren to tell him the date of the public sacrifice. No one may know who Lin Yang is, and few people know the movie super citizen, which won him the Golden Horse movie king. As the representative work of Wan Ren, the representative figure of Taiwan's new film in the 1990s, super citizen presents a repressive and personalized style of "author film". After the film, Lin Yang did not continue to play in any film. Before the film, Lin Yang only showed his face in a low-cost co production Hou San.
